Visit New Delhi. You will drive past President's Palace and India Gate (42m high), built to commemorate the 70,000 Indian soldiers who died in the 1st world war. India Gate

Later visit Humayun's Tomb: The tomb of emperor Humayan was built by his wife in 1565. The finely proportioned structure in red sandstone and marble served later as a modal for the Taj Mahal.

Qutub Minar: Dominating the ruins of the earliest existing settlement of Delhi is the city’s famous landmark, the Qutub Minar. And it is the highest sands stone minaret in the world (73 meters).

Full day sightseeing of Old and New Delhi

Day trip to Agra (to / from Surface)

Early morning drive to Agra. Enroute make a photo stop at Sikandra.

On arrival visit Taj Mahal, a poem in white marble, built by Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaj Mahal.

Day trip Jaipur (to / from Air)

Early morning transfer to Airport for flight to Jaipur.

Maharaja Jai Singh II built Jaipur in the 18th century. It is a planned city built with ancient Hindu rules as the colonial capital of a richly colorful state. The whole city was painted pink to welcome the visit of Prince Albert in 1853.City Palace

On arrival drive to Amber Fort for a visit with Elephant / Jeep ride enroute make a photo stop at the Palace of Winds (Hawa Mahal).

Later visit the pink city of Jaipur visiting -

City Palace: It is a beautiful landmark built by Kachchwah Rajput rulers of Jaipur. The City Palace is a classic example of Mughal and Rajput architecture. A part of the palace today is museum that houses a collection of rare manuscripts, weapons, Mughal carpets and costumes, and Mughal and Rajasthani miniatures.

Royal Observatory: The Jantar Mantar is a collection of architectural astronomical instruments, built by Maharaja Jai Singh II at his then new capital of Jaipur between 1727 and 1733. He had constructed a total of five such labs at different locations

Evening is free to explore the market before leaving for Airport for flight to Delhi.

Early morning drive to Agra. Upon arrival check into your hotel.

After breakfast drive to Jaipur en-route visiting Fatehpur Sikri. It is a bea

Later continue your drive to Jaipur.

Cochin has been variously hailed as Queen of the Arabian Sea, Venice of Orient, etc. Some choose to call it simply a museum city for its rich past and colorful present.

Day 02 – COCHIN
After breakfast sightseeing of Cochin, a city till today influenced by medieval Portugal, Holland and England. You visit St. Francis Church, the Mattancherry Palace or “Dutch Palace”. And the amazing Chinese fishing nets.

hand-painted, willow-pattern floor tiles brought from Canton in the mid-18th century by a Rabbi, who had trading interest in that city.

Drive to a jetty to board motor boat for a short cruise in the Backwaters t

Day 01 – DELHI - VARANASI
Fly to Varanasi. Upon arrival you are met and transferred to the hotel.  Varanasi derives its name from the two streams – Varuna in the north and Assi in the south. In the afternoon excursion to Sarnath, 9 km from Varanasi, one of Buddhism’s major centers in India.

Today early morning you experience the life of this ancient city. See the b
Ghats on Gangeseauty of the rising sun on the Ganges Boat Ride, experience the early morning rituals of the Hindus being performed, thousands of people taking a bath in the holy river believing they will be free from the circle of rebirth. It is interesting to see the pilgrims offering sweets, flowers and holy water to the Sun God.
Later join the ongoing yoga class on the Ganges banks.

In the afternoon visit Varanasi city. You will visit the Durga Temple & The Benares Hindu University a centre of education in Indian art, culture and music as well as for study of Sanskrit.

Day 01 – DELHI - UDAIPUR
Fly to Udaipur. It is the city considered as a romantic city - with its lakes, gardens, temples and palaces - an Oasis in the Thar Desert. On arrival, transfer to the hotel.  Day free to relax and explore city on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 02 – UDAIPUR

After breakfast, visit the City Palace built on the bank of the Pichola Lake, by Maharana Udai Singh in 1570. The Jagdish Temple – (1651) a fine example of the Nagara style of temple architecture. Sahelion-ki Bari an ornamental pleasure garden specially made for the ladies of the palace in the 18th century. It has beautiful fountains, trees and flowers.

3. Haridwar 02 Nights Excursion to Rishikesh

Day 01 – DELHI - HARIDWAR
Early morning transfer to the Railway Station to board Shatabdi Express to Haridwar. Afternoon we visit the various temples. Evening is to experience the Aarti performed by hundreds of devotees. Return to the hotel for Overnight.

Day 02 – EXCURSION TO RISHIKESHAshram in Rishikesh

Rishikesh represents the Gateway to the Himalayas in the Tehri - Garhwal region of Uttranchal. It is believed that several yogis and sages lived and practiced penance here. Rishikesh represents the site where God Vishnu vanquished the demon Madhu. It abounds in natural splendor. The spectacle of the River Ganges rushing through the Himalayan foothills is an awesome sight. Several temples dot the banks of the River Ganges at Rishikesh.

Visit Triveni Ghat, Laxman Jhoola and various temples.


Day 03 - HARIDWAR – DELHI
Morning is free.   Later transfer to the Railway station for train to Delhi.

Day 01 – DELHI – AGRA

Day 02 – AGRA – JHANSI – KHAJURAHO

After breakfast transfer to railway station to board train to Jansi.
On arrival in Jhansi we drive for further 04 hrs to Khajuraho. Enroute visit Orchha Palace & Raja Ram Temple and its most famous erotic temples built in the 10 & 11th century by the Chandela Rulers. On arrival in Khajuraho, transfer to the hotel.

 

Day 03 –  FLY KHAJURAHO – VARANASI

In the morning visit Eastern Group of temples mainly dedicated toTemple - Khajuraho the Jain teachers - tirthankaras - The Parsvanatha Temple, the Adinatha Temple and the Santinatha Temple. The temples are ornately carved on the outside with beautiful figures of Hindu gods, goddesses. Also visit the Western Group of temples, which consist of a group of artistic temples built in sandstone. The sculptures of Hindu deities, dancers and musicians appear to be so natural as if they would come alive any time.

Afternoon transfer to the airport to connect flight to Varanasi. It derives its name from the two streams – Varuna in the north and Assi in the south. On arrival in Varanasi transfer to hotel.

Itmad-ud daulah, one of the most beautiful of Mughal tombs, stands across the river Yamuna from the Taj Mahal, nearly one and a half kilometers up-stream. Belonging to the age of Jahangir, it contains cenotaphs of Mirza Ghiyas and Asmat Begum, parents of the powerful Mughal Empress Nurjahan queen of Jahangir, an exceptional beauty and an astute administrator.

Golden Triangle North India

Day 01 – Agra

Early morning drive to Agra. Upon arrival check into your hotel.
Taj Mahal
Later visit Agra Fort (Fort and Palace) situated on the West Bank of the river Jamuna.

The Fort is crescent shaped, flattened on the east with a long, nearly straight wall facing the river. Fort's colossal double walls rise 69 ft in height and measure 2.5 km in circumference encircled by a moat and contain a maze of buildings which form a small city within a city. The fort contains splendid mosques and palaces in red sandstone and white marble built by two generations of creative builders during the time of Akbar and later Jehangir and Shahjahan.

Evening visit Taj Mahal, a poem in white marble, built by Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaj Mahal.

Return back to the hotel for overnight.

Day 0 2 – Agra - Fatehpur Sikri - Jaipur

(Optional – You may visit Taj Mahal once again for sunrise on an additional charge).

After breakfast drive to Jaipur en-route visiting Fatehpur Sikri. It is a beautiful and deserted medieval city built by Akbar the Great in the 16th century to serve as the capital of his vast empire. The Mughals later abandoned this city for lack of water.

Later continue your drive to Jaipur.

Maharaja Jai Singh II built Jaipur in the 18th century. It is a planned city built with ancient Hindu rules as the colonial capital of a richly colorful state. The whole city was painted pink to welcome the visit of Prince Albert in 1853.

Upon arrival check into your hotel for overnight

Day 03 – Jaipur

After breakfast, half-day excursion trip takes you to Amber Fort with Elephant / Jeep ride. En route, make a photo stop at the Palace of Winds (Hawa Mahal).

Afternoon visit the “Pink City” of Jaipur visiting -

City Palace: It is a beautiful landmark that was built by Kachchwah Rajput rulers of Jaipur. The City Palace is a classic example of Mughal and Rajput architecture. A part of the palace today is museum that houses a collection of rare manuscripts, weapons, Mughal carpets and costumes, and Mughal and Rajasthani miniatures.
Royal Observatory: The Jantar Mantar is a collection of architectural astronomical instruments, built by Maharaja Jai Singh II at his then new capital of Jaipur between 1727 and 1733. He had constructed a total of five such labs at different locations

Return back to the hotel for Overnight.

Day 04 - JAIPUR – DELHI
After breakfast drive back to Delhi.
