India's premier Conference Center. Built in 1956 by CPWD, it offers

world. Vigyan Bhawan
has
been the venue for many historically and politically relevant summits,
seminars and conferences, attended by distinguished world leaders and
dignitaries. Various NAM (Non-Aligned Movement) conferences, the CHOGM
(Common Wealth Heads of Government Meet), etc., first being the UNESCO
conference addressed by late Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru - the architect of
modern India were held here.
It has caucus facilities,
which include computer controlled conference systems with concurrent
interpretation system up to eight languages. An awesome in-house TV
linked with satellite, communication facilities of E-mail, Fax are the
key highlights of this great structure. Local Area Net work with P.C.s,
Video recording and large screen video projections are also other
facilities available for day-to-day conferences.
Several other halls
provide the requisite seating for parallel sessions, workshops and
discussion forums. With an absolutely gripping environment, it has
amazing lobbies and a huge seating capacity in each conference hall.
